Absolutely can, by all means for as long as the base of both solar and light can have a flat surface. Just adjust the angle of the solar panel and light and motion detector accordingly.
Before the first use, please allow the solar security light to charge for at least three days with the switch in the OFF position, that will ensure the batteries are fully charged. If there is enough direct sunlight, you can use it after one or two days of charging. After that, it can be charged normally in any mode.
